DIY Strawberries & Cream Hair & Body Smoothie

Made with ingredients straight from the kitchen for natural nourishment all over.

A delicious creamy smoothie; but, for the hair and skin!

Summer is approaching, which means we want to let out natural hair down and show off our healthy glowing skin! This hair and body smoothie is perfect for treating winter dryness and reviving our natural glow! The best part is, just like a regualr smoothie this can be made with ingredients already in your kitchen. When making DIY treatments, the ingredients and measurements can be altered to treat YOUR HAIR & SKIN the way you like it!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Fresh Aloe Vera – Aloe Vera is a miracle plant for the hair and skin! It soothes razor burn, bug bites, eczema, sunburn, dry skin, acne, dry skin, dry scalp, dry hair, split ends and much more! It’s the superstar of this smoothie for sure!
  • 1/2 cup of Coconut Cream ( I use Native Forest Brand) – Coconut cream acts as a natural moisturizer and conditioner.
  • 1/4 cup of Raw Honey – Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it draws in moisture from the environment. Long lasting moisturization paired with its ability to add shine makes honey a perfect addition to this smoothie!
  • 1/4 cup of Extra Virgin Olive or Coconut Oil – a good oil brings the benefits of conditioning and nourishing the hair & skin as well as sealing the hair strands & skin to lock in all this MOISTURE and LOVE.
  • 1/2 cup of Fresh Strawberries (about 4 small strawberries) – Strawberries are high in antioxidants and vitamin C which makes them good for boosting hair growth and glowing skin.

Instructions

  1. Wash & cut the outside leaf of the Aloe Vera on both ends and both sides.
  2. Then, cut as closely to the leaf as possible to retrieve only the clear Aloe Vera Gel from inside.
  3. Rinse and place the chunk of Aloe Vera Gel into a bowl of spring water for 20 minutes ( make sure the Aloe is completely submerged). This step is extremely important in order to remove the somewhat poisonous part of the plant called Aloe Latex (Yellow Liquid between the gel and the leaf) which can cause itching and extreme irritation to the skin !!!!
  4. Place all your ingredients into a blender & blend until you get a smoothie consistency.
  5. Hop in the shower, wash, & shampoo as usual.
  6. Apply the smoothie to CLEAN hair making sure to cover the hair from root to ends.
  7. Twist hair into two or more twist and cover hair with a plastic shower cap to trap the steam.
  8. Allow the smoothie to sit in your hair for around 10 minutes.
  9. While waiting proceed with shaving, a body scrub, dancing, singing or whatever you wish.
  10. About a minute before rinsing your hair, apply the smoothie onto the body and smooth into the skin.
  11. Rinse your hair and body very thoroughly making sure to get all of the smoothie out.
  12. Detangle hair whilst washing out the smoothie allowing the water and gravity to assist.
  13. OPTIONAL: If you have thin, fine, or straight hair you may need to do an extra shampoo to remove access moisture or simply reverse the steps by apply the smoothie first, then shampoo, and conditioner after. For my thick, long, curly, & kinky headed kings and queens a thorough rinse will suffice.
  14. Proceed with your regular hair and skin routine!

For my thick, long, and 3C/4A curly crown I proceeded to dry my hair with a microfiber cloth, massage my scalp with some castor oil, and apply a small amount of castor oil to my ends as well. I then moisturized my body and let my hair air dry for the remainder of the day!

This Smoothie made my hair and skin extremely soft and nourished. It left my wash and go hair so fluffy and bouncy yet deeply moisturized with a nice shine!

3.14 Open Journal Series: 12.21.20

Hello my kings and queens I have an enlightening 3.14 post for you all today! In celebration of the last 3.14 blog of the year we’re going to wrap this up with a bang! We got big realizations and full circle connections coming through today baby.

Not too long ago I was compelled to binge watch The Walking Dead Series on Netflix. Orignially, I told myself I was watching it to “brush up on my survival skills”. Which in fact was my intention, I wanted to see how we might react to the world falling to pieces and everything we know being taken away. I wanted to observe the mentality and action humans might take to stay alive during a global epidemic. Though I learned some survival skills like: being aware of surroundings at all times, always staying strapped, how to find shelter, find food, track people/animals, and how to decide whether to trust a stranger or not, the survival skills arent the mos important part I needed to learn.

In the show, this group of people stick together so tightly fending for their lives, they become just like family. In the beginning of it all, they wanted to save everyone, help everyone, take everyone in, and remain whoelsome giving individuals. Their big thing was staying “good” and remaining a humanitarian although the dead human race was literally trying to eat them alive. As the show goes on, season after season, these people become forced to do “bad” things to stay alive. Their forced to kill other surving humans; their friends who turned on them, stangers who threatened their survival, and those who were bitten but not dead yet. Not to mention the brutal stabing, shooting, and ripping apart of dead walking bodies they were forced to do. Through this journey, several memebers of their pack even voilently die right in front of their eyes. Naturally, this trauma turned many of them into savages. Where kiling was a natural instinct.

In a late season of the show, they meet a priest who tells them he thinks the main lesson God is trying to get across with all this madness is remaining enlightened.

And that hit for me.

Although we arent literally fighting “zombies”, we are fighting walking bodies with dead souls. Evil entities who are dead inside and need to feed on life for survival are very real. In the show, this was all a physical experience. Here in this reality, it’s a spiritual experience. Which means, it’s all energy. Low vibrating bodies needing to feed off the energy of those vibrating at a higher frequency. Fear is the lowest vibration and taking your hope, your faith, your enlightenment, and your love away then replacing it with fear is the same thing as a zombie walking up to you and feeding on your flesh.

Kings and queens listen to me when I tell you this is a spiritual battle. Whether Corona is caused by 5G, chem trails, or pscyhological fear attraction, it doesnt matter. Whether this vaccine is actually a nano chip designed to controlled humanity and keep us from ascension, it doesnt matter. Where these race wars, riots, and killings of our people are to put us in fear mode to prevent black people from self-actualization, it doesnt matter. Whether sex trafficking is a form of energy zombies/vampires feeding on sexual energy to stay alive, it doesnt matter. The details dont matter, at the end of the day we’ll drive ourselves crazy trying to find the hard cold truth. The truth is this is a battle of who can ascend past this feared based hell. Because hell is not a place but a mindset that manifest into our reality. This is a battle of who can keep their vibration high enough to elevate, to create reality past fear, and see with our real eye. This is a battle of who can understand this world and the shift thats happening but be detached from it. The survivors are those who dont let this turn them into fear, turn their survival mode on overdrive, turn to savage mode, and develope a cold heart. Because without the power of your heart you are easily controlled, you are out of balance, you are out of alignment with the universes greatest expression of you and your reality.

Now, now, dont get it twisted! We have to experience survival mode to know how to fuck some shit up if need be. But us people of color already know this. So, continue to stay aware, stay strapped, learn how to beat a bitch ass, get in the shooting range, plant your own food, become self sufficent, and a STAY AWARE. But, also maintain enough spiritual essence and high vibration to separate this world from your divinty; it’s about keeping your divinity while keeping it gansta. Be prepared but have no fear.

Don’t let them scare you into the reality they want you to have. We create our realities when we are in tune with our true selves.. LOVE.

Happy Winter Solstice. Happy return of Christ Conciousness. Happy dawn of The Age Aquarious. Happy astrological full circle. Today the planets give us a reset, a new beginning, karma, and turned tables after 6,000 years. May you create heaven on earth.

3.14 Open Journal Series: 12.10.20

Hey yall, im back so soon because I’ve had so much to say that’s been biulding up. Plus, I have a feeling this information is very crucial at this present moment. Every post is in divine timing.

What I want to talk about today is my observation of disconnection. One thing I’ve continously noticed throughout the duration of this pandemic is the desocialization. I’m not saying they are purposly trying to disconnect us.. ooooor maybe I am. Regardless, whether the agenda is by accident or by force, we as a society are being physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually disconnected from eachother: we’re socially distancing. We are distancing from our most basic human need; connection. There are people afriad to see and hug their family memebers, afriad to speak or even look at others in public, afriad to stand next to someone, afraid to simply breathe; anoher basic human need. When we become less of our human selves we become more like robots…

Robots may seem like something in a movie, some sort of fantasy, or a reality only possible much further in the future (on some i Robot type shit). But, in this reality, robots are real. Our technology is just a system of robots, every Tell-A-Vison, every phone, every apple watch, earbuds, tablets, remotes, etc are small functioning robots. Robots are typically controlled by a central opperator and seek to control other things.. or people. Or, maybe those who opperate the robots seek to control the things controlled by the robots. The more we become like these devices, using logic only, over controlling, lacking connection and humanity, the more easily we are controlled by these devices.

Kids are now using ipads, laptops, and headphones to learn things meant to be understood in a hands on enviornment. Before the pandemic technology was introduced to education and it was actually a nice boost. But, now technology is beginning to control our education. Students, kindergarten to college, are struggling; zoom classes are ruining education. Its easier to memorize rather than absorb. Not to mention a lot of students cant afford fancy technology. It’s also very confusing to me how this country finds a way to keep national football and basketball leagues playing for our entertainment. But, can’t seem to find a better solution for education. Anywho, growing up constantly using tech creates an addiction of these devices early on. It creates this idea that we need these things to survive and these devices are our lives. We’ll depend on them to remind us of things, to socialize with people, to get education, to tell us what direction to go, what to buy, what to eat, to make money, to have fun, and soon depend on these devices to create our reality. I’m not saying tech is a complelty bad thing by any means. What Im pionting you towards is the Yin and Yang of tech. Yes, it connects us to people all over the world, it boost creativity, it’s convient, it’s innovative, and makes our entire lives easier.

But, we must ask ourselves is this enough to satisfy the basic human need of connection. Can you survive on only being able to Facetime your loved ones? Is this real or false connection?? Is this a real reality or a false one?

Was this a plan for the CIA, advertisers, politicians, and large corporations to take control over the masses and begin controlling not only what we google, but what we see on our social timelines, eating suggestions, pop up ads, and how we connect/relate to eachother? Maybe. Maybe, they knew before the pandemic that this was some sort of plan and they took advantage of it. Maybe, its another one of the angles they plan to hit. Maybe, the world of technology is the real matrix; a simulation we enter to live in a made up world with made up standards, expectations, ideas, connections, and made up people. Maybe, the advance in technology is a plan to suck us all back into the matrix to the point where we cant escape. But, what do I know.

My advice to you is to take this social distancing agenda and turn it into an opportunity to connect with people on a deeper level. We can’t see people faces anymore so learn to use eye contact, learn to read body language, and learn to listen. Play the techology game; meet people online and worldwide, promote your shit, and make money. But, learn to step away from the false sense of reality that is created to control your mind and keep it trapped in a fake dimension where you can be completely controlled by those controlling it. Play the game Kings and Queens; dont let the game play you.
